If you lose data on your Windows due to the freezing of Windows and you think your Windows is running slowly you might be surprised to learn you can quickly resolve this problem.
When Windows freezes on you the first thing you need to do is to open Task Manager. Once you do this you must close all programs that you can close. If you simply disable the Windows or off without closing the programs that you lose data and possibly corrupt the program.
To open Task Manager, go to the Windows Start menu, go to Run and type in taskmgr.
If the task manager will not open or appear it means that you shut off the Windows manually by turning the power off. You can do this by the start button on your Windows 10 seconds and then your PC will power off. If you do this too often as if your PC will begin to suffer serious data corruption.
The main reason for this and you find your Windows running slow there are too many programs installed on your Windows or some programs are using all available memory. This will prevent you from proper functioning of Windows.
Here is how you fix it.
# 1. If your Windows has restarted and before you start to run all programs to start task manger and find out what programs are active. The program that you see under the Applications tab in Task Manager are the programs that Windows loads at startup.
If these programs you do not need or want to remove them. If you do not need to use them all the time you can stop them booting Windows by going to the Windows Start menu, then, type msconfig to run. Once it opens go to the Startup tab and remove any programs you do not need to start automatically. This free memory.
# 2. The second step is to reduce the size of the registry. Remove any old or unwanted items and remove any malicious entries from the registry. This will cause your Windows to slow down and freeze.
